At Silk and Earth, every piece created is a love letter to the intersections of woman and earth. A wearable plant infused prayer designed to honor our one of a kind nature mirrored by the beauty of the plant queendom. And I have to tell you—Planties are my Silk and Earth dream come true! These pieces exist because of an incredible journey of discovery, connection, and collaboration—and I am so grateful to each and every one of you who has supported the silks and helped bring this dream to life! Planties are 100% silk, dyed with local plants, and sewn with care by my new amazing team of artisans in Bali. The helping hands in this project are filled with so much love and exchange of knowledge and giggles through the process! In Indonesian the word sister is “saudari”. And I am so grateful for the ways Bali and the women I am meeting along the way are becoming our Silk and Earth saudari!
