meet the steward of silk and earth

Madison Camino
I say steward because it truly feels like these alchemical adornments have a will and compass of their own. It first began with personally eco printing every silk with wild harvested eucalyptus. a deep dialogue blossomed on this forest floor. between every hue, cycle, and message of mama earth. from fern, to marigold, then rose, and indigo. the grass in my garden has been stained with experiments. clay and coffee. iron and pomegranate. the plants of maui truly feel like they wove together to form a rainbow bridge. all the way to the island of the gods. to now expand into design inspired by the original scarf staples. with the intention to invoke the art of adornment. i feel so lucky and grateful to be  learning with bali for the now creation of intentional and sustainable plant dyed silk. designed to invoke the holy and the harmonious within.
